Whenever I go on a trip, one of my favorite things is to find a local craft market or fair to explore. I feel you can find the best items there and I love that everything is handmade and you get to experience the local culture and creativity.
My last day in Hawai'i, we did a gal's trip to coffee and the Wailea Village craft market. I think I was buzzing from excitement when my mom flagged me over to a bright, botanical booth called Aloha Heals. This is where

I met Amy, the founder of Aloha Heals. We immediately connected and began discussing ingredients, her story, products, and Honey Glow Wellness. I sampled almost every item, struggling to choose which ones I wanted to bring home with me. They each smelled so amazing, it felt like I was holding bottles of Hawai'i's unique floral botanicals. What better things to bring back that captured the aromas of the beautiful island?
April's Hero Product: Lilikoi Luxe Vitamin C Serum

To no ones surprise, I ended up bringing back several items (see below for the complete list)--a huge thank you to my parents for adding these to their checked bags. I’ve been looking forward to sharing my product experiences and struggled to choose which item to talk about as I had a hard time choosing my favorite. However, the vitamin C serum has been a consistent staple in my bed time routine. Lightweight, effectively brightening with an AMAZING smell, my mood and skin are always instantly elevated after applying the serum to my face. I've noticed my hyperpigmentation has lightened and my skin genuingly glows the next day. Typically with vitamin C serums, I struggle to find ones that don't cause breakouts and so far I've been very pleased with the results of Aloha Heals.
All Purchased Items
Lilikoi & Lotus Face Cleanser
Aloha Glow Hydrating Face Serum
Lilikai Luxe Vitamin C Face Serum
Bloom Face Toner
Hawaiian Salt Body Scrub
Mana Wai Sacred Smudge
Hawaiian Lei Flower Oil
Made without preservatives, synthetic fragrances, colorants, sulfates or parabens, the vitamin C serum must also be made with a bit of magic, as I'm transported back to the tropics every time I use it. I've also noticed how soothed I feel after applying the serum so I wouldn't be surpised if Amy's expertise in Deeksha and Reiki healing is a bit of that magic I mentioned.
Amy's story in founding Aloha Heals resonated with me as her natural draw to the beauty industry reminded me a bit of my own. I learned Amy's love for skincare was inspired by her mother, who created a line of natural body care in the 80's and Amy would often watch her make everything. I feel some of my passion can be credited to my own mother, who held (and still does hold) skincare and bubble baths to the highest regard. It was a core memory growing up, getting to use her fancy soaps and star-shaped gel bombs. It's funny how little things that we experience when we're children, can show up in an impactful way within our adult world.
I love that a travel tradition—seeking out handmade goods and local creativity—led me straight to Amy’s booth and a connection that felt both inspiring and familiar. From discovering products that now live in my daily routine to hearing a story that resonated with my own beginnings in skincare, this experience reminded me why I’m so drawn to these spaces in the first place. Craft markets aren’t just about what you bring home—they’re about the people, the passion, and the little sparks of inspiration that stay with you after you’ve left.
Carrying inspiration,
